PLACEMENT CELL
The Placement Cell facilitates contacts between companies and the students. It organizes career guidance programmes for all the students starting from first year onwards.
The Placement Cell of St. Bede’s College is a largely student driven, professional body incorporated for facilitating recruitment of our students by global corporate.
Taking the initiative the companies are invited to take part in the recruitment drive. Those interested respond and thus register with us for the year, for recruitment. The students are intimated and a vast number register for the interview. To recruit talent from St. Bede’s, companies can register anytime on our official website.
The Placement Cell starts the academic year with the process of volunteer recruitment from the third year students. The interview process usually starts with a power point presentation where the company enlightens the students about their company profile. Those interested then go for the interview, which usually comprises of group discussion and personal interview.
There is a great deal of enthusiasm among final year students when the placement season starts off. Students come forward with their queries regarding companies, placement procedures and the Placement Cell members readily help them.
At the end of every academic year, most students are provided opportunities to pursue internships. Emphasis is placed on ensuring that students attending the programme are placed in rewarding, real-world company assignments that extend the learning experience into areas that are not available at the college. Most of our degree programmes like B.B.A. offer the opportunity for practical, hands-on experience, internships and projects within the local community.
The Placement Cell also organizes career guidance programmes for all the students. The cell arranges training programmes like Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Internships, and Communication Skills Workshop & Guest Lectures. It also invites HR Managers from different industries to conduct training programmes for final year students.
