RED RIBBON CLUB

Red Ribbon Club is involved in spreading awareness about AIDS through programmes such as power point presentations poster making and slogan writing competitions. Every year the college observes World AIDS Day on  December 1, to enlighten the students about the menace of AIDS.

ACTIVITIES

August 29, 2019

The Red Ribbon Club of St. Bede’s College organized a poster making and essay writing competition for the Youth Week on “Myths and Facts of HIV/AIDS”.

Many students from all years actively participated in this competition. The competition’s aim was to create awareness among college youth about the Myths and Facts of HIV/AIDS for better social handling of HIV/AIDS affected individuals as well as for better prevention.

November 21, 2018

Three students from St Bede’s College attended the training on HIV held at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Zonal Hospital, Shimla on  November 21, 2018. The training was a small initiative taken for the Red Ribbon Clubs of different colleges to spread awareness on HIV.

Red Ribbon Club of St. Bede’s College Shimla celebrated International Youth Day. On this occasion an inter- ship declamation contest was held on the topics ” Safe Spaces for Youth ” and ” Importance of HIV testing for Youth”.
